This table had immense damage from a heavy fire in side its home. You can see where contents were once on the table prior to us cleaning it. Now the table is clean as well as odor free after the cleaning.

Smoke and soot damage can penetrate surfaces of wood and leave a long lasting odor if not taken care of properly. 

SERVPRO uses specialized cleaning agents to make sure that surface stains and odors are safely removed so they don't come back later. Household cleaning agents might make the surface clean, however they fail to safely penetrate the surface to keep odors from returning.
